Honeycomb is possibly the worlds strongest, most well designed building material. Whether made from bees wax, aluminum, or paper, its structural proper ties are undeniably sound. Bees build wax honeycomb hives. Aircraft manufacturers use aluminum honeycomb as a core material for wings. We integrate kraft paper honeycomb into our package designs. Honeycomb can be die-cut & crushed to provide cushioning, and be left flat in other areas to provide support. Because of honeycomb’s vertical strength, cushioning properties, ease of use, and attractive price, we look to honeycomb where product protection is paramount. When “folding corrugated parts” can be replaced with honeycomb components, our customers benefit directly through reduced repetitive motion injuries and faster pack times.
